The annual Sparkle Parade down Main Street Maple Grove kicked off the recent holiday season.

What’s February in Minnesota without hockey?

 

Virginia Hoppenrath was 10 years old the first time she saw her wedding dress. She and her sister were singing in their aunt’s wedding. The bride had paid less than fifty dollars for the dress at Powers department store in downtown Minneapolis.

 

With screen time at an all-time high for kids, and cold weather reinforcing the impulse to stay inside, finding activities to keep kids moving and having fun this winter can be challenging.

 

MOMS Club is a National organization with chapters around the world, including in Canada, Germany and Italy. Four of those chapters have a local vibe right here in Maple Grove: the Fish Lake, Rice Lake, Weaver Lake and Rush Creek chapters.

 

The couple was ready to complete their family. They had one son, and were hoping for a second child. The mother, after a successful and healthy pregnancy, suffered complications during the birth of their first son that left her unable to bear additional children.
